Productive Weekend...

I'm hoping that my productive mood right now (@ 9:10 Saturday morning) continues through the weekend!

The Thank you cards for our baby shower are completed and ready to be mailed today. I would have had them done sooner but this cold kicked my arse pretty much for the past two weeks.

Alyson's coming over this weekend to assemble the last items that need assembling (stroller, carseat & pack & play) and then we're going to replace the lights in the bedrooms upstairs. However, we have a break in the middle because we're going out to dinner with the Dahan's and then we're going to see "Dancing with the Stars". I know, we're cheesy. But we enjoy being cheesy.

Dan's going to finish up the closet by putting the trim up and the newly painted door back on. I'm also hoping he can do a quick sanding job on the bookends he built so I can paint them.

And to finish the weekend off, Gary's coming to finish up the painting - WOOO!! He's going to fix the spots that need a fixin' and add in the details and then the room is complete!

And speaking of complete, we really are pretty much ready for this baby. All we have to do is finish paperwork for daycare, pack the hospital bag, wash clothes for Alexander, and finish up our birth plan. However, I have a ton of stuff to do at work! A TON!
Here's my prediction - from the baby perspective, he'll come when he wants to because we're ready for him. However, if he knows how busy I'm going to be at work the next 6 weeks, he'll come early. And since the majority of babies over the past year (with the exception of 1) has come earlier than their due dates, I'm pretty much banking that he'll come early.

I had a talk with Alexander last night about the dates that are good with Mommy. I know I don't really have a say in this, but a girl can ask right? So we'll see ... but my gut instinct is saying earlier than his due date.
