35th Week Journal...

I can't believe we only have 5 weeks left - we're coming into the home stretch! I'm officially considering last week to be the "uncomfortable" week of this pregnancy...

I really don't know what the next 5 weeks will have in store for us. I do know that we are in really great shape if this baby did come early. All of the essential things are done and whenever this baby comes will come into a world so loved.

How far along? 35 wks today (WOW)
Total weight gain/loss: 8.5 lbs above target
Maternity Clothes: I do not want to buy another item of Maternity clothes
"Morning" Sickness: N/A
Signs of Pregnancy: Braxton Hicks Contractions, aches, groin pain
Stretch Marks: I have a total of 5 pregnancy stretch marks on my belly (2 on my right side, and 3 on the left) and I'm realizing they're getting a bit darker. I bathing myself in cocoa butter.
Sleep: Sleeping hasn't been that bad but when I need to switch posititions or get up, that's when it's quite uncomfortable ...however I was up at 3:30am on Saturday and could not fall back asleep. So I got up and did some scrapbooking, might as well be productive!
Best moment this week:
*Doctor's Appointment/hearing the heartbeat
*Booked my next 2 doctor's appointments where they are a week apart
*Crossing things off our to do list
Worst moment this week:
*Monday. I woke up and was FINE. At about 3pm the "achey" switch turned on. My groin, hips & pelvis hurt, or ache. This is where I understand about the waddle. I walk alot slower, it's not easy to stand up. Forget about trying to get up when lying down - that sucks. I took me the whole week, but I realized that using my arms & elbows to get up rather than my legs are easier on the pain. And it's been consistent ever since...
*Realizing that I have 7 Reviews to write for work plus my own self-review and I only have 5 weeks to go (potentially) plus I still have to train people on my team to do some of the day-to-day tasks. I feel like I'm running out of time.
Movement: Still moving around but now it's more of squirming
Gender prediction: He's a BOY - Alexander Christopher
Labor Pains: Braxton Hicks Contractions
Belly Button in or out? Still in
Wedding rings on or off? On, still loose
What I'm going to miss/What I can't wait for:
Miss: His kicking & talking to him
Can't wait: His Arrival & my birthday (33 yrs old on Wednesday 2/21) - I *LOVE* my birthday in case you didn't already know! And the best part is this year I only want/need two thing - a new pair of sneakers and money to go towards my new camera! There is nothing else I want or need, because I already have everything else. Yup, I'm that lucky of a girl.
Weekly Wisdom: Make sure to put your thoughts about labor/delivery down on paper, pack early enough so you don't have to worry or you still feel okay to pack
Milestones/Fun Moments:
*Doctor's appointment was quick & normal - nothing wrong & I got to hear the heartbeat again
*Spaulding Family Gathering
*Birth Plan is complete
*Got a lot of things done this weekend
*Washing his little onesies was so much fun

What we need to do:
*Send daycare our deposit (IMPORTANT) - Daycare is confirmed, dropping off deposit on Weds.
*Put carseat bases in car (IMPORTANT)
*Finish Hospital Bag (Important)
*Continue washing Alexander's clothes
*Look for bookshelf
