Gender Pool...
Our ultrasound is scheduled for this coming Friday (October 27th).
Now's when we play the Guessing Game! What do you think we're having???
Dan really just wants a baby that is healthy and not a mix of girl & boy. He wants it to be one or the other. I wanted a healthy baby but if I could check a gender box I would check 'boy'. Originally I thought boy at the first two ultrasounds. However, the past 2 weeks I've really been thinking girl. I'm undecided but I figure I have until Friday before we leave for the appointment to post my prediction.
What do you think - post your thoughts! I'll update with what others think, for example:

JUST HEALTHY. We have a lot of boys in the family and that's GOOD! Do you know that I got my money's worth on the sign we put up on the house, "Its a Boy!"?
But I could always buy a new sign - so, like Dan, boy OR girl - JUST HEALTHY!

I have no idea and even seeing you on Saturday didn't give me any clues. My original thought was to write boy and girl on pieces of paper and just pick one. Instead I decided to use two of my poker chips...green will be for a boy and red will be for a girl. I don't have pink or blue chips so red and green will have to do. I'm actually doing this as I'm typing. And my pick was...Red, that would be girl. So my guess is girl. But always, as long as the baby is healthy that's all that counts.

I'm going to go with boy. But it's a completely un-educated guess. But like others have said, it doesn't really matter what it is.
I say girl!
I read somewhere that the female sperm..does that make sense...are stronger swimmers and can withstand cold temperature in the balls better than boy sperm. When Shane was a diver there were definitely more girl babies than boys and it was rumored it was due to the cold water. Not that Dan has been diving but that's just my guess.
Oh i cant wait to find out!!! that will be a really fun day for you both!

I am going with girl. Maybe that is just my hope. Just don't steal my baby names ;)Either way I hope the little peanut is healthy so I can spoil her (or him).

I'm going to say "girl" only because I haven't been able to spoil a little girl in a very long time. And just so you know...whenever she is with me...you can be sure she will be getting dirty.

I have to say boy since that's what I'm the proud owner of. Of course we are all routing for "healthy" but if I have to vote I go "boy." Can't get enough of my little man! Can't wait to find out what you're having - Too exciting!
