Fall Day in New England...

Today I went to the Mega Maze in Sterling, MA with Gary, Sharon, Chris & Claire (Dan opted to stay home to do some yardwork). It was a perfect fall day - great combination of warm sun and a hint of chilly wind. The maze was great! It took us 2 1/2 hours to get thru the maze and we missed a couple of things they have you look for on the scavenger hunt. We also a cheated a few times to get up on top of the different bridges. SHHHHH. Cheated, what? Who, us? Naaaaa... Chris was our leader and he did a fantastic job - he knew which direction to go and where we'd be able to find the bridges. Claire was tired & bored but once we finished, and she got her oreo cookies, she was full of energy!

After the maze, we walked over to the Family Farm to do some apple-picking. The perfect way to wrap up the perfect fall day in New England. I got a bunch of apples and I'm going to see what yummy desert I can whip up with my finds.

Now if only our peanut will be just as cute & entertaining as Chris & Claire, I'll be one happy momma...
